A Multi-Faceted Approach to CI and Asset Discovery in Restricted Networks
Customers struggle with security, regulatory, and/or feasibility issues with installing ServiceNow discovery in regulated networks. APS partnered with KPMG to take a multi-faceted approach to get CI and asset information from these networks safely, securely, and efficiently. Updating CI and asset information for all servers in restricted networks required connecting to third party applications: Tenable and SCCM. It also required the usage of the Portable Agent Client Collector (ACC). Using this multi-faceted approach APS was able to extend discovery successfully into the restricted networks.
