SVP, CISO
Ben de Bont joined ServiceNow as CISO in July 2019. He focuses on keeping the company’s enterprise and customer data safe and secure at every level of the Now Platform, working closely with the product team to ensure ServiceNow solutions are helping CISOs be successful in today’s complex landscape. Ben previously served as CISO for IBM Cloud, CSO for HP Cloud, CISO for Myspace, and led Microsoft’s online incident response team. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia; while there, he wrote his thesis on cryptography and encryption. In 2018, he was named Queensland University of Technology Alumnus of the Year for Science and Engineering.
