Sanjiv Meher MVP 2026: My Community Power

New article articles in ServiceNow Community · Feb 27, 2026 · article

Hello everyone, I am Sanjiv Meher, and I’ve been working on the ServiceNow platform for over a decade, specializing in IT Service Management, Security Operations, and Integrated Risk Management. This is now my ninth ServiceNow MVP recognition, and the journey has been truly amazing.

How did you get that started?

I began my ServiceNow journey in 2015 when I was assigned to a Service Catalog project, transitioning from HP Service Manager. Since the platform was completely new to me, I wasn’t sure where to start and turned to the ServiceNow Community for guidance. Although I completed system administration training, the real learning happened while working on live projects. By searching for answers, asking questions, and engaging with the ServiceNow community, I gained invaluable hands-on knowledge. I can proudly say that this community has played a pivotal role in shaping my career.

What do you create?

I mostly answer to questions in community, in SNDev slack channel or create blogs. My expertise both in my organization and community is to remove blockers by providing efficient solutions and helping them move faster.

  • To date, I’ve contributed over 1,440 correct answers and received more than 3,200 helpful ratings in the community.
  • I’m also a ServiceNow Knowledge speaker and have presented twice at the ServiceNow Knowledge Conference.
  • I actively participate in ServiceNow Hackathons and have earned two Honorable Mentions at Knowledge.
  • Additionally, I’ve spoken at a kickoff session during ServiceNow Connect at the ServiceNow Headquarters and regularly collaborate with ServiceNow on product feedback and customer advocacy initiatives.

Why do you keep sharing?

I believe in two things: continuous learning and being passionate about what I learn. As I deepened my knowledge of ServiceNow through the ServiceNow Community, my curiosity and enthusiasm for the platform kept growing. The more I learned, the more I gave back by answering questions and supporting others—at the time, the community was the primary way to help people grow.
