In this session, Bristol-Myers Squibb will share how it leverages the Configuration Management database (CMDB) as a foundation to optimize its application and infrastructure portfolios. We will share how external benchmarking, application consumption metrics, acquisitions, and other business drivers initiated our Application Portfolio Management journey. You will also gain insights into how the CMDB information, related to application business value, business process mapping, utilization trends, lifecycle management and technology health, enables key decisions in rationalizing the application portfolio, lowering application technology risk and right sizing the technology footprint.
