Did you know that the ServiceNow Jakarta release provides robust and easy-to-use Benchmarking functionality? Are you taking advantage of Benchmarks' ability to send peer comparison data out to your managers, co-workers and project teams? If not, then let me walk you through on how easy it is to send up-to-date Benchmarks reports to your inbox.
Step 1. Opt-in to Benchmarks from your Jakarta production instance
Search "Benchmarks" in the application navigator. Click Setup and complete the opt-in process.
Step 2. Validate your KPI definition for better KPI data comparison
Jakarta Benchmarks allow you to change the KPI definition to align with your custom implementation. Go to Benchmarks > Setup, and then hover over a KPI and click the pencil icon.
Step 3. Provide bm_viewer roles to users in your organization who want to receive the monthly Benchmarks data reports link in the email
All users with the bm_admin and bm_viewer role will get an email notification whenever new Benchmarks data is available in your instance.
It is that easy!
