What are the core requirements?

Each year, MVP candidates must meet the following core requirements:

1. Reputation follows the ServiceNow Community Code of Conduct and our program values.
2. Contributions within the last year are consistently helpful, accurate, and exemplary.
3. Contributions within the last year are posted throughout the year (between January through November).
4. ServiceNow Community profile is up-to-date.
5. All fields are completed in the nominee application form.

What are the agreements and expectations?

The title of ServiceNow MVP is held with the upmost regard. MVP’s actions and words must align with the program values, community code of conduct, and company policies at all times. If accepted into the ServiceNow Most Valued Professionals community program, you will be regarded as an extension of ServiceNow and its respective initiatives. You will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and provide your personal contact information in order to receive access to all the perks of being a top contributor.

The ServiceNow MVP program is reserved for non-ServiceNow employees. At the time that a ServiceNow MVP becomes a ServiceNow employee, they will respectfully be removed. Lastly, MVP candidates must reapply every year.

How did the program begin?

2015: We launched the ServiceNow Community MVP program with 10 individuals to recognize the first group of ServiceNow top contributors on our community forums.

2020: We launched the Developer MVP Program with 14 individuals to empower our developers.

2023: We launched the unified ServiceNow MVP Community program to recognize the growing areas of expertise, talent, and content creation driven by our top contributors.
