Recognising Excellence in ServiceNow Development

The Devvies showcases applications that solve real-world problems, improve workflows, and make everyday processes more efficient. It’s a platform to celebrate developers whose vision and dedication turn challenges into opportunities, demonstrating what’s possible with ServiceNow.

Prizes and Recognition

The competition isn’t just about recognition; it comes with exciting rewards. Participants compete for two prestigious awards:

• App of the Year, chosen by an expert panel.
• People’s Choice Award, voted for by the ServiceNow Community.

Beyond these titles, all valid submissions earn exclusive swag and a special ServiceNow Community badge. Finalists gain even greater rewards, including additional prizes and global recognition, all leading up to the winners being revealed at the ServiceNow Knowledge 2025 conference in May.

Key Dates to Celebrate

Here’s how The Devvies 2025 will unfold:

• Finalists Announced: The finalists were announced on 6th January 2025.
• Video Pitches Deadline: January 27, 2025.
• Winners Revealed: May 6–8, 2025, during CreatorCon at ServiceNow Knowledge 2025.

In the weeks leading up to Knowledge 2025, the ServiceNow community was treated to pitch videos from these talented finalists, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the innovation powering each app.

Community members had the chance to vote for their favourite application and crown the winner of the People’s Choice Award!

The Panel of Judges

The 2025 App of the Year Award will be evaluated by this year’s panel of judges:

After all votes were cast and judging was complete, the winners were announced live during the CreatorCon Keynote at ServiceNow Knowledge 2025.

App of the Year:

GC WalkUp

This innovative app streamlines student service queues through kiosk check-ins and real-time updates via SMS and WhatsApp. Already live across seven campuses, GC WalkUp has processed tens of thousands of service requests, making it a clear standout for real-world impact.

People’s Choice Award:

SmartGuide

SmartGuide automates the creation of process documentation using AI, reducing manual effort, improving training, and cutting costs. Voted by the community, it’s a brilliant example of how AI can simplify complex workflows.
