Location: On-site (British Columbia) 15-12% travel / primarily remote support

Scope:

Solution Architect or Technical Consultant knowledgeable with the ServiceNow ITOM platform to provide overall architecture and design for all ITOM components with focus on CMDB, discovery, and service mapping. Must be knowledgeable in CMDB data structures and design (CSDM required), capable of custom scripting and development for patterns and integrations, and be excellent in communications.

Specific scope includes:

• In support of overall ServiceNow architect, support the design and implementation of all aspects of the ITOM platform, primarily focused on CMDB design to ensure trusted and secure data source.
• Provide expert guidance on CMDB population, identification and reconciliation of CIs, and architecture in support of discovery and service mapping
• Determine and document optimum methodology to create CI and asset records from catalogue items to support BC government business.
• Design, development, testing, and deployment of integration of ServiceNow CMDB with external Management Data Repositories (MDR).
• Support shared services organization (BS business model) to identify and reconcile soft assets requested from the BC government with external systems.
• Excellent communications skills required as the successful candidate will lead workshops and provide communications to technical resources as well as senior BC Government positions.
