Integrating with Microsoft 365 Series - Configure Updates on Microsoft 365 Admin Center
so now we're going to do the configure updates on Microsoft 365 admin Center so this is now required as of about a year year and a half ago um or more maybe um since Microsoft made a change to anonymize all of the user data that's available in reports for basically security reasons so what happens is if this setting is not enabled your uh subscription data is going to come in with a masked user ID so you won't actually know who the subscription is assigned to so we're going to go back into the Azure portal and show you where that setting is okay so what do we do now Randy all right so we're going to go ahead and to log into the M365 admin center with your admin credentials okay so I'm just going to change this and go to the admin portal it's going to log in automatically for me since I was already logged in with my admin credentials on the Azure portal so excellent so we navigate over to settings and then go down to services oh yes settings so I think settings if I remember is underneath here a I had to hit the show all to see settings okay and then where sorry go to or or settings okay and then report reports so scroll down into here into reports okay and then you want to deselect display concealed user group and site names in all report okay so since this is a an instance that we've used uh quite a few times looks like this is already been deselected so this is that important setting that you want to deselect this because by default when Microsoft made the change they and implemented this they turned this on so it it you know that this is the setting that actually will uh hide all your usernames so make sure it's deselected and then hit save excellent so once this is all done we are configured in the admin Center uh we'll just need to now go ahead and create the Microsoft integration profile so our next video we'll go through that sounds good
