what is up and welcome back in today's episode I'm going to walk you through a personal project of mine using my wife's Boutique creative dreams as inspiration so I wanted to create a planning phase that would outline the basics for me so that way I could stay focused stay on track and I could put all this into an agile board and I will probably do that as well but for now I just use this uh flowchart and so let's Dive Right In all right here we have creative dreams and we'll start with the meat and potatoes over here going into the service catalog the service catalog I'm going to create creative dreams and that's so that way all of the items are not going to fall under Hardware software anything like that they're all going to be bundled into creative dreams so in the creative dreams catalog we're going to create the categories the categories are going to be Seasons or holidays and then I'm going to put the type of items that we're going to be selling so here you see we have pens I'm just going to give a couple examples then we have bookmarks and then we have the badge reils from here once something is ordered then I'm going to build a flow and flow designer for the Fulfillment process it's going to kick off an automatic email to the customer and it's also going to send a a text message and an email to the owner so that way they can start building it and then once it's built then fire a email to the customer saying it has been shipped also within the service catalog I'm going to be building templates just to make creation of all these items just a little bit quicker being that all of these are going to be under the same category so we'll get that going moving on down here to cmdb we have the items the electronics that we utilize in the process so we have our cell phone we have the modem and the router and then all of the electronics connected to that and under the the computer we have the monitors um within the cmdb I'm going to be building the parent to child child to parent um one to many relationships so that way we can try and track down any issues if some should arise coming over to the service portal we're going to have two views we're going to have a customer View and an owner's view so in the owner's view we're going to make the dashboards that way they can view the revenue analytics reports list of top selling items and then any unfulfilled order count at a glance so this will be a big visual so that way the owner uh can stay on top of their their company and make sure that orders are getting filled they'll have information on uh what the hot items are that way they can improve their processes and products to generate more Revenue all right now for the customer view from here we're going to go into the homepage when we build the homepage I'm going to have a login link which is going to take you either to a login page a modal a drop down something whatever I decided to make but from there the the login are going to be credentials that are stored within the now platform if they don't have an account they can create one when they create one it's going to take them to the new user form which I'm going to build and then whenever they input that that is also going to reference into credentials so that way they can log in there'll be a link for a forgotten password they forget the password because of the profile the email will be within that and so it'll fire an email to change the password also some other little features that I'm going to incorporate are Banner logo is going to have a link to the homepage because I plan on generating additional Pages for each of those items going to have a search bar virtual agent and I'm even going to make a guided tour just to show that I can also in the homepage I'm going to have a menu bar the menu bar is going to have all of these categories outlined on top with links that'll take you straight to these as opposed to maybe having to go through the service catalog you know you'll be on a homepage which will take you to a similar setup so that's it for this I just kind of want to show what I'm working on uh a personal project trying to sharpen my tools that I've gained thus far in the skillbridge if you have any ideas is or if I have anything depicted wrong let me know and it's only going to help me grow I appreciate you and until next time take care
