customizable form for this portal this is one of the easiest ways for engineering teams to capture requirements for new applications and due to the customizable nature of this form it can be adjusted to ensure all necessary details or captured up front submissions from this forum automatically integrate with our governance solution app engine management center which will discuss in depth during the platform governance and operations section of this demo another popular and compliment solution for capturing requirements and tracking development is our strategic portfolio management offering also known as SPM this solution Suite allows our customers to Align Technology Investments across the Enterprise to continually Drive strategic outcomes one of the key components of SPM is our scaled agile framework offering we provide tools that enable easy management of epics stories and even simple tools like our visual taskboard to manage low-level story tasks the the key here is that these roll up to strategic initiatives which are managed via a central workspace with this tool it's easy to prioritize massive backlogs of work view a Consolidated road map and even leverage built-in scoring mechanisms to facilitate Planning by leveraging service now for strategic planning agile execution and low code appd our customers can easily manage low code projects whether they're driven by quickly develop data models end user experiences like forms and security roles within just a few minutes saving them one to 2 hours versus the traditional low code appdev approach regardless of how an app's requirements are gathered we offer Persona specific idees to help users of all skill levels develop low code apps our three main idees are Creator Studio which offers a curated no code environment for line of business users app engine studio for low code creators and mid skill developers and Studio IDE for professional developers we also offer the service now SDK as a complement to the studio IDE for prodev all apps created on the now platform exist within Scopes meaning their components are compartmentalized via security policies but accessible via any one of our editors the editor you choose dictates the level of app detail you see in this way our Builders are interoperable allowing end users to grow their skills and move up to more sophisticated idees when ready while simultaneously facilitating easy collaboration across devs of varied experience to make collaboration even easier each of our Builders has a built-in mechanism to enable collaboration let's take a closer look at the builders starting with our no code Dev environment Creator Studio this IDE is perfect for process owners looking to create simple request fill apps it allows the user to easily create one or more forms along with straightforward automation to build a powerful app that can then be surfaced in their company's service catalog Creator Studio uses our powerful platform capabilities under the hood but in a highly curated streamlined experience to make the process easy for those new to app development next we'll look at our low code IDE for Mid skill Developers app engine Studio this IDE offers A Perfect Blend of capability and simplicity to expose the core building blocks of a low code app on the service now platform data experience logic and Automation and security we'll dive into each of these areas in much more detail later in the demo but for now you can see that we make it easy for users to generate modular building blocks of their app facilitating incremental but rapid development users can leverage the data area to import spreadsheets or PDFs to rapidly import content from Legacy apps and surface that data in a more modern form using our experiences like workspaces next up for experienced developers we have our studio IDE this provides full access to every aspect of metadata generated on the now platform and gives devs access to Rich gen and enabled script editors for more advanced feature development and for users that want a true Pro code development environment we provide the service now SDK this allows Pro developers to create and modify scoped applications with custom modules and thirdparty libraries using visual studio code on their local machine before turning our attention to user experience design we'll dive a bit deeper into capabilities for data management more Advanced Data Integrations will be covered in the application and data connectivity section tables are the underlying data structure of the now platform and within a low code app a user can build as many as they need to support their app's functionality there are four simple methods a user can leverage to build a data model they can build a table from scratch this gives the ultimate level of Simplicity when it comes to custom data and requires the user to specify only the fields their app requires a more popular approach is to extend from existing service now data models like task this gives our customers a jump start on their data model by leveraging a sophisticated service now data template as a starting point using this approach they also benefit from cohesion without out of the box service now data for users converting manual processes to low code apps we offer both Excel and PDF import capabilities the Excel import allows users to import any number of sheets contained within an Excel workbook including their Associated data to a new or extended table the tool also provides recommendations for Value type and character limits based on the included data our PDF import capability leverages our aib based intelligent document processing capability to automatically identify the fields contained within the PDF
