today we'll be discussing service now's new integration with the masterc com API from MasterCard MasterCard has developed a suite of apis to access payment security data and loyalty services with users ranging from issuers acquires to Merchants and others masterc is one of their apis from Security Suite that expedites dispute resolution and protects the business issuers use mastercomp transactions by participating in mastercomp backs second presentments and cases as part of the dispute cycle mastercomp facilitate efficient sharing of information during the dispute cycle to determine which party has financial responsibility for disputed transactions and allows funds to move between issuers and acquirers now we'll jump into a demo as you previously saw with our Etha demo Anu had two transactions he was disputing with the agent as a result of the merchant information Etha was able to pull in on the E chair's transaction Anu recognized the transaction and the call center agent was able to resolve this dispute you can see here the customer response is accepted for this demo we'll continue forward with the N Video transaction because Anu still does not recognize this is a transaction that he made the call center agent continues through the dispute Playbook and submits the NV video transaction for investigation next the transaction is handed off to the dispute agent where they further investigate the transaction and leave a note for the approving party that a chargeback should be filed with MasterCard they mention that the reason code should be 4853 defined as card holder dispute and they also choose yes under suspect fraud after this is approved and the fraud is reported to the card Network we move on to the initiate chargeback request step here we input the chargeback reason code AS defined by the work notes we input 4853 card holders dispute of a recurring transaction this subscription is a recurring transaction the customer has not signed up for from here we click initiate charge back which is when our m Master spoke kicks into action now let me show you what's happening on the back end when this button is clicked as you can see here we have many actions under the MasterCard spoke here we have the action that was automatically triggered when we reported this claim as fraud but back to the chargeback button we can see here that when that button was clicked the details for the chargeback were automatically populated and once we run this test we can view the result results here we see it's a successful result this shows that it was able to successfully file the chargeback ID with MasterCard hopefully this shows the huge Time Savings and efficiency increase that our Master comp spoke will result in not only improving the agent's number of steps but saving the bank time and money to quickly resolve disputes for their customers thanks so much for watching our demo
