as part of our Washington releasee and exciting partnership with Visa we've integrated with the API rapid dispute resolution or RDR RDR is a key step in helping Merchants better manage and monitor chargebacks by automating the dispute resolution process protecting the merchant and improving the card holder experience Visa will automatically activate the RDR service for all issuers with a voll organization which will initiate an RDR request for any transaction with a participating seller prior to that transaction being sent for formal dispute processing if the seller accepts the liability the dispute process will be avoided leveraging our disputes demo with customer Brian Laura imagine he still did not recognize the transaction after using the order insights API and the charge was a true fraudulent transaction as a result our dispute agent moves to the investigate stage of the claim after entering additional details about recovery option and write off funds he comes to the review participating merchants activity stage here's where the RDR API is called in this example Merchant Sunny streamer has signed up for RDR via voll after calling this API the merchant Sunny streamer as we see is RDR eligible and has accepted the dispute as a result Sunny streamer is agreeing to refund the money themselves rather than kicking off the costly and timeconsuming process of a charge back this shows the power of our integration with the RDR API as it helps customers avoid costly and unnecessary chargebacks thanks so much for watching our demo
