the service now event management Express list in service operations workspace displays sortable alerts with live updates this helps operators identify health issues across the data center all in one screen let's follow along with Sam an event management operator at Salan Tech he needs to access the express list to review analyze and resolve current alerts in the service operations workspace Sam selects the express list module by default the list displays all active alerts but the view can be customized for different teams administrators set filters and column order for each team view when Sam selects a filter from the menu in the filters pane the list refreshes to display that team's view of the [Music] alerts the filters pane also provides fields for operators to set additional filters on the list Sam selects a single alert to display its information he analyzes the alert instantly with alert assist which provides an easy to read summary and Technical information generated by now assist using generative AI to help and investigate the alert Sam applies an additional filter to see the groups of alerts each group of alerts includes a badge showing the number of alerts and type of grouping Sam can expand the group to review each Alert in the group Express list actions include a free text search field to filter the list by any string Sam can adjust the time range and pause and resume live updates in settings he can change the colum order and appearance quick actions like closing alerts and creating incidents can be performed on single or multiple alerts here Sam selects and closes an alert group the preview pane displays additional alert information enabling Sam to assess and resolve alerts without opening multiple alert forms it's also used for monitoring systems resolving alerts tracking issues and Reporting incidents like Sam did earlier for a single alert he can use alert analysis generated by now assist using AI to view a summary and Technical information for a group of alerts the info tab displays more details Sam views the probable cause tab to learn about changes and other alerts that may have triggered this alert the link view tab helps Sam understand the connections between alerts in an alert group the chart shows how the attributes of the alerts in a group are linked with each other the timeline view displays the chain of events and a severity of each Alert in the group over time so Sam can better understand which alert was created first became critical or was closed and to make his job even easier Sam can perform basic actions with the express list keyboard shortcuts described in The Help Center to learn more see our product documentation or knowledge base or ask a question in the service now community
