I should probably unpack nah this episode of knowledge is called follow through oh hey didn't see you there okay so it's the first Monday post knowledge you had a lot of conversations last week and you really want to make the most out of last week's conference here are two things you could do right away that will help make that difference okay so first follow up with the context you care about within one week of the conference to really cement the relationship and keep the conversation going I got my first service now admin job because I followed up with someone I met randomly at a breakfast at my first knowledge here's another proach up about following up with your contacts you need to take the initiative avoid the conversation that goes hey we should chat sometime sure let me know when you're available sometime no instead propose some dates and times avoid putting the impetus on the other person when you're the person wanting to meet with them and if you're one of the people I told to message me online please do so I have open calendar times ready for you uh and two did you attend a bunch of sessions and have a bunch of notes some people who are sent to knowledge have the expectation to bring back what they learned and teach it to the others that didn't get to go but even if that isn't your case this still applies to you take your notes and find one or two key takeaways that can that can sum up the most important things about each of your session or Keynotes that you went to it'll help you both remember the session and it will boil the session down to actionable or at least memorable items and that's it for now so share some other post knowledge tips you might have in the comments because after all we want to keep this conversation going right
