What are Impact Strategy Accelerators?
If you want to achieve more value faster with your ServiceNow solutions, one of the best ways to do this is to use Impact Accelerators. These are fixed-scope service engagements available with your Impact subscription. Each Accelerator is designed to help you quickly achieve success in a particular target area. There are three types of accelerators: Strategy Accelerators, Architecture Accelerators, and Technical Accelerators.
In this blog, we're going to take a closer look at Strategy Accelerators.
What are Strategy Accelerators?
Strategy Accelerators focus on organizational and governance best practices, helping you to succeed in critical strategic areas such as driving adoption or defining your vision and strategy for the Now Platform. They also help you upskill your team, for example, by assessing your training strategy.
What Strategy Accelerators are available?
Here are two examples of Strategy Accelerators. You can find a complete list here (there are more than 15 available). Note that the Strategy Accelerators you're entitled to use depends on your Impact subscription type—Guided, Advanced, or Total.
- CoEI Maturity Assessment: This Center of Excellence and Innovation (CoEI) Maturity Assessment Accelerator provides insight into your current ServiceNow CoEI level. The CoEI Maturity assessment is a tool to help customers understand how well their ServiceNow Center of Excellence and Innovation is progressing. It compares CoEI ServiceNow categories against the level at which they are adopted in a customer’s organization.
- Staffing and Roles Review: To successfully execute your ServiceNow vision and strategy, you need to have an effective team with the right roles and skills in place. This Accelerator is designed to help you build that team. It provides leading practices and prescriptive guidance on how to analyze the roles you need, assign responsibilities, and identify potential skills gaps. This, in turn, lets you build a hiring, partnering, and outsourcing plan to support your ServiceNow program. After an initial 60-minute alignment session to set expectations and identify required information, ServiceNow experts will hold discovery sessions with you to review the information you've provided. ServiceNow will then analyze the information and hold a 60-minute readout session with you that provides suggestions on overall organizational structure, roles, and staffing to support your ServiceNow vision strategy. You can also request an optional 60-minute follow-up session after the readout session to address any questions you have.
