The Jumpstart Your App Engine Accelerator

Jumpstart Your App Engine is an Impact Accelerator that helps ServiceNow Impact customers achieve faster time to value with App Engine. It's one of dozens of Accelerators available to Impact customers and is a fixed-scope offering where you get insights and guidance from ServiceNow App Engine experts during a 90-minute interactive coaching session. It's ideal for Impact customers who:

• Are interested in developing low-code ServiceNow apps and want to know more.
• Are planning on developing apps and want guidance on capabilities and leading practices.
• Have started some app development and want to scale it into a citizen developer program.

You can expect the following benefits from this Accelerator:

• An introduction to low-code/no-code citizen development.
• Insights into App Engine's low code/no code capabilities, including a demo.
• An overview of App Engine governance capabilities, again with a demo.
• Recommendations on leading practices.
• Pointers to key resources.
• 30 days of access to a temporary instance where you can try out App Engine.

How to get started

You'll need to have the role of admin. Go to your Impact homepage and select "Impact benefits" from the Benefits & Usage drop-down menu at the top. Then select "Accelerators "from the Capabilities menu on the left-hand side.

View available Technical Accelerators by clicking on the "Technical" tab at the bottom and locate the Jumpstart Your App Engine Accelerator. Select the Accelerator, and a details page will appear. Fill in any details—for example, any topics you're particularly interested in. Then, choose "Start Accelerator" if you want to start the Accelerator right away, or choose "Schedule only" if you want to start it at a future date. Note that the Accelerator will also appear in your Initiatives so you can refer back to it at any time.

Once you start the Jumpstart Your App Engine Accelerator, your CSM will be automatically notified, and they will reach out to you to schedule the 90-minute coaching session. Prior to the session, ServiceNow will set up a temporary instance with App Engine activated, which will be used during the session for demos. You can then access this temporary instance for an additional 30 days. You can also request an optional follow-up Q&A session if you have any further questions for our App Engine experts.
