hi everyone my name is my borad I'm a product manager with the workflow automation team today I'm going to be talking to you about process automation designer a common question we get asked often is can pad be used with third party Integrations the answer is yes currently we provide you with some activities that you can download from the service St store that provide you actions that can be used for third party integration in addition to the activities that we provide to in the service now store you can also leverage integration Hub integration Hub is available with the automation engine application Suite integration Hub gives you the ability to automate or create Integrations with external systems using flow designer and now you're probably wondering how does that work well integration Hub works with spokes spokes a Spoke is a scoped application that provides you with actions subflows that you can use to integrate with third party systems some of these folks are available to you in the service now store you can download them and use them within the platform now you're probably wondering how does this all connect back to process automation designer process automation designer is built on the flow designer engine therefore these integration Hub spokes that you can use in flow designer can can be leveraged by creating a custom activity definition a custom activity definition connects with flow designer subflows or actions and can give you the ability to call those subflows or actions within process automation designer for example with the two images here we create a custom subflow within flow designer that posts a message using one of our integration Hub spokes to a thirdparty application then we can go into PR designer and create a custom activity definition that calls this subflow and gives you the ability to use the actions of that integration Hub spoke thank you I hope this helps happy building
