[Music] I am very excited to have you Karina we're going to talk about strategic portfolio management and it's important to ask po it audiences so let's start with question one tell me about SPM and it's important to core it audiences well first of all thanks for having me Chad you know how I love talking about strategic planning absolutely especially for it organizations they are challenged to show how they're delivering on business outcomes what they're delivering and when and why they can't deliver all the priorities that come in right as you know there's often way more demand than capacity and then something happens some kind of dis ruption making it even harder and worse and if you look at the latest technology generative AI is doing just that how are you going to deliver on those strategic priorities around improving customer experience and improving employee productivity the pressure is on it is it is I agree and so with the pressure being on what do you see on the road map for SPM and geni I am so excited about strategic portfolio managements road map so I don't have enough time to talk about all the things that we're going to deliver I'm just going to highlight a couple of them okay you can definitely see it at knowledge 24 this year okay we are leveraging service now generative AI to enhance productivity for both our product and project managers in several ways so for example you can collect a bunch of feedback whether it's from the idea portal emails directly talking to your users and use generative AI to understand Trends AC Ross your customers and users to figure out what do you need to address to either be Innovative or address any issues that your users may be having and quickly nice get that manual process where you feel like you're using more gut field than data to make decisions get rid of that let's leverage gen generative AI additionally we're uh integrating generative AI with a new documentation capability so imagine being able to take that summarization using your real customer feedback to generate documents such as product specifications and project Charters there's a ton of other use cases that we're supporting but you're not giving me enough time to go through them all no but they will be at knowledge I know epic creation's going to be on the main stage at that keynote so we'll save it for that all right it's going to be it will be truly awesome but how will it impact our core it audience so just like anytime there's disruption when it has mature strategic portfolio management processes in place they're able to better handle rep prioritization getting that investment for Innovation and delivering on strategic objectives so this time is no different you need strategic portfolio management to handle the disruption of what's happening in your organization to deliver on those strategic goals however even better imagine being able to plan those strategic objectives improve your customer experience and employee productivity while improving your own and using generative AI to deliver on those priorities nice nice that will definitely help our it audiences okay I met you a few knowledges ago it's been a great experience let's talk about the shift we introduced gen in k23 we're coming into K24 what do you see that how do you see maybe a forecast on that what do you what's all about k23 K24 k25 so in knowledge 23 we were still in that first phase early on dis being disrupted by generative AI some people were super excited others were a little skeptic right so service now over the last year has done a fantastic job of slowing down to move fast when it became obvious that we had to focus on SEC being secure and safe for our users and their data a year later we've proven out that our large language models work and they're safe and secure and they're being successfully used by our customers so now anyone in service now such as strategic portfolio management can leverage the results of that investment to support our own use cases our own user Journeys and embedd it in now assist in the application so our users can quickly start taking advantage of it absolutely and when I looked at 25 I predict that now assist with generative AI will be a core technology that everyone in it is already using and if they're not already using it they're going to feel like a late adopter I I love it there was a lot to unpack in this I know I didn't give you a lot of time to go into the road map if there's any questions on the Strategic portfolio management road map any questions about gen for Karina please reach out to Karina and myself here in community you'll see the URL here and with that Karina I want to thank you for spending your time with me thank you and happy planning
