[Music] hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house in this video I want to show you what's new in Washington DC when it comes to the application manager application manager is one of my Favorite Things um they recently redid it with Vancouver in that it's a new experience totally different um and so in Washington DC they've made some improvements you can see here one of them is um application manager was added to the navigation for admin Center so there's a couple different ways to get to it the first and easiest way is to go right up here to the admin menu and click on application manager which will take you to the new application manager experience the other way you can get to it is by typing in well I'll just leave that up here system applications all will take you to the same place it takes you to application manager now you can go to the old uh classic app manager which I don't know why you'd want to but you can using this little link up here also from the all menu we can just search for application manager and it's going to pull up the uh admin Center menu and then there's two links one right there one right there um or you can do like me and just go to the admin menu and click on application manag and you're all set the other new thing in Washington DC I wanted to show you is in the older version of let me actually pull up the old version here let me go to this one and let's see I'm need to switch profiles there we go so this is the Vancouver uh application manager and notice here at the very top the um sync there's no sync button so in in Washington DC there's a sync Now button before you had to use this little refresh icon which would sync with the this is all about the performance improvements when you're using this application manager that it's not sinking the store every single time you load it like it used to do with the classic one which is why I don't think why I wouldn't want to go back there um but the refresh button I guess wasn't obvious enough so they've made it into this button which is right here sync now and you can see I'm in my PDI today is April 21st I'm recording this on a Sunday and the last time I did a store sync was on April 7th so now I have this big sync Now button that'll go ahead and sync the store for me uh sync synchronize the store for me to my PDI in order for me to see new things like updates updates is especially what I'm concerned about because service now is releasing so much stuff all the time but anyways I hope you found this video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share it with somebody who you think might be interested in different ways to get to the new application manager experience or the new button to synchronize the service now store until next time don't forget to to always be learning [Music]
