hey guys my name is j Fen I'm the product manager of flow designer within service now I'm here to answer some of the frequently ask questions that I receive from customers and one of the question is how much code or scripting do I need to know in order to use flow designer the answer is no you don't need to know any one of the finding principle of flow designer is to empower anyone to automate workflow without code within flow designer you're provided with all the building blocks that you will ever need to create any automation or sometimes what we call Action flow logic and subflow to use them you simply need to select them place them onto the flow and fill in the necessary details with action flow logic and subflow so you can create you can create a record you can update a record you can notify your colleagues you can seek approvals Etc you can also control how the flow should run by adding conditions looping parallelism so all these events control all within the flow you can also get very cretive by um adding air handling and logging so that you can monitor the flow later you can do all of these without writing a single line of code so I encourage anyone technical or non-technical regardless of your coding skill level to start use flow designer when it comes to create automation thank you
