hi there my name is Jin Fen I'm the product manager of flow designer within service now and I'm here to answer some of the frequently asked questions that I receive from customers and one of the one of the question is can I only automate things within service now using flow designer the answer is no you can actually go outside of service now and we actually provide a lot of the readily available Integrations with many thirdparty system through something called integration Hub so what I'm showing on the screen is uh an example of the action picker all the Integrations with one thirdparty system are grouped within one spoke so on the screen I have I'm showing a few examples of a few different Spokes and their Integrations available so you see there is the the spoke with Cisco webx there's the jira spoke there is the um Dynamic translation spoke the Cornerstone spoke but I'm zooming onto the spoke with Gmail within that spoke I see a lot of the the actions with integration to for different actions with Gmail so I can look up emails I can reply to email I can send email trash email Etc all the third parties spoke through integration Hub are available uh to pick and truths they can be either developed by service now or by our partner all of the them are available on service now stores so what I'm showing on the screen is an example of service now store you can pick and choose what are the useful spoke depends on your business need so if you have a Jus system that you need uh service now to sync with Jirus system you then can install a Jirus spoke and then pick and choose the Integrations that are already available with jira and then execute this integration within blow designer finally if you're not happy with the available spoke and Integrations that we provided via either the store or the spoke you can then actually customize your own action and then within the action we have we provide a lot of integration options for example we can um uh give you uh a jdbc connection or you can you know run Powers shout script or you can run restful or soap web services to send requ reest to a third party system let's say within uh that your business use you can also use SSH script to uh run via the mid server within the same network so there so there are a lot of options that you can have and then so you can uh if you have a custom application that only your company use and there's no readily available spoke you can create your customized own action to integrate with that system that you have so there are so it's very flexible um using spokes using actions with Integrations your flow can achieve a lot of things not only within service now platform but also with all the technology Tools in your ecosystem thank you
