What can Impact Accelerators do for you?

ServiceNow Impact is designed to help you get the most out of your ServiceNow investment. It’s a first-of-a-kind solution that lets you achieve more value faster. With everything from expert help through to personalized recommendations and training, Impact is there to help you succeed.

One of the biggest benefits of ServiceNow Impact is Impact Accelerators. These are off-the-shelf, fixed-scope services engagements that you can use to achieve targeted value quickly. Accelerators focus on specific goals such as upgrade readiness and user adoption, and they include expert guidance and insights along with fast access to valuable information and recommendations. If you’re looking to turbocharge your ServiceNow journey, Impact Accelerators are a great way to do this.

What types of Impact Accelerators are available?

There are a huge number of Impact Accelerators—more than 50 and growing—so you’ll find the right Accelerators to support your business goals. Accelerators are divided into three categories:

Strategy Accelerators: These focus on organizational and governance best practices with the ServiceNow platform. For example, if you want to drive user adoption, set up a Center of Excellence and Innovation (CoEI), or develop your training strategy, there’s an accelerator for that.
Architecture Accelerators: As the name says, these tackle architectural and technical governance issues. Examples include help with setting up your architectural blueprint. You’ll also find targeted assessments here—for instance; you can have ServiceNow experts review a solution design or get a detailed analysis of the health of your ServiceNow implementation.
Technical Accelerators: These are focused on accelerating the usage of specific platforms and product features. Your Impact Squad and technical consultants will deliver applied demonstrations to help you understand the capabilities that are available and the benefits you can get from these. They’ll also provide personalized coaching and best practices, so you’re ready to hit the ground running. These accelerators are designed to help you throughout your ServiceNow journey. For instance, there are “jumpstart” Accelerators —such as Jumpstart Your CMDB— that are designed to help you get going with a new capability, and there are also “tuneup” accelerators that help you to strengthen capabilities you’ve already implemented.

Your Impact package determines which Accelerators you can access—there’s a basic set for the Guided package, a broader set for Advanced, and a comprehensive set for Total. Your Impact package also determines how many Accelerators you can use simultaneously:

With Total, you can use six concurrently (two each of strategy, architecture, and technical).
With Advanced, you can use three concurrently (one in each sub-catalog).
With Guided, you can only use one at a time.
