[Music] hi my name is Pedro rer I'm a solution consultant here at service now today it's my pleasure to introduce our new open it integration that's going to help you better manage your engineering licenses before we begin we do have a safe harbor notice as there might be some looking statements today so feel free to pause this and read this if you need to all right so service now has already had the ability to manage the complexity of engineering licenses you know concurrent or floating users or network licenses or tokens however you've needed openlm and the integration with that to to take advantage of the functionality however now with Washington we've expanded that offering to also support an open it integration as a data source and that way you can get from open it visibility into your license position and ultimately it can help allow you eliminate audit risks it can improve the way you forecast it can enhance your usage and even prevent denials and then you can even set parameters to reclaim licenses so the open it integration is found on the service now stored but with that said let's take a quick look at our engineering license management within an instance to see it in action all right we're in our software asset workspace and from here we're going to jump into our software asset analytics and that's going to take us we can go here to our engineering license overview so now with that open it integration we're able to feed that data from open it into the service now platform into your Sam workspace that way you can understand things like what's total spend look like or where do we have opportunities for savings or when we think about denials when we when we're talking concurrent licenses you know where are we experiencing the most denials and then just across our products what's the percentage of utilization or what's that usage look like over time and then we even have user specific metrics down here below if we wanted to investigate further so again all of this empowering you to not only leverage open LM but now open it to feed this data into your service now instance that way your Sam workspace can continue to be the One-Stop shop to manage your entire software estate especially for these complicated engineering licenses that wraps it up for today if you have any additional questions please feel free to work with your account team and please continue to check out the features that are being released in Washington but again my name is Pedro and it was my pleasure to walk you guys through our new open it integration for engineering licenses
