there are three main components to mining Sab processes on service now first build sap data model second extract and transform the data third step is to mine and analyze the process now sap data model can be created on the platform using Erp canvas Erp canvas allows us to create various data models with tables fields and Joints required for processes such as accounts rece able accounts payable asset management and many others extraction and transformation can be handled by flow designer for this use case we have created two flows one for extraction one for transformation into the audit log additional flows can be created for incremental data loads finally process mining can be run on audit logs to create a process map once we have a process map ready we can utilize uh the mining workspace to conduct an analysis and identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the process we will demo this functionality using AR as a sample process this is Erp canvas first action here is to set up connection with the Erp system as you can see we are connected to an sap system with credentials provided here once the connection is successful we start building our Erp model we have an example model created for accounts receivable process here we specify the tables fields and Joint conditions we require in the model we can also specify if we need to make any Transformations while importing the data once we have the model set up next step is to build flows for extraction let's go to the flow designer you are looking at the flow for extraction we can extract the AR documents just by selecting the connection start and end date all the documents will be extracted raed with the required Fields as per the join conditions applied in the ARP model in addition to extracting these documents we also need to transform them into audit log which can be consumed by process mining this transformation will create audit log for each document as it's being extracted we can also schedule the extraction for regular incremental data loads now the audit log is ready we can mine this table same as we would mine any internal service now table we have already mined one project for the AR data extracted from the sap system we can now analyze uh this process map and identify bottlenecks in the process utilizing these different capabilities on our platform we have streamlined the process of importing transforming and Mining process data from any third party RP system thank you
