[Music] hello everyone my name is Hayden Webster and I'm a solution consultant specializing in strategic portfolio management here at service now today we're going to walk through the now assist gen capabilities for SPM as part of the zanadoo release before we get started our reminder to keep in mind the Safe Harbor notice throughout this video the now assist features leverage gen to streamline insights within SPM specifically for the product feedback and docs features the now assist features we'll cover today are part of the Pro Plus license within product feedback the infusion of now assist enables users to consolidate multiple feedback points into a cohesive summary so that the user can make decisions and take action more quickly using the checkbox users can select multiple feedback items to be Consolidated and summarized using now assist once the feedback summary is generated users can then create a new work item either a demand capability Epic feature or project the now assess summary will then be copied into the newly created work items description within the SPM docs feature users can leverage analysis to summarize elaborate and shorten documents that are part of the strategic planning and project workspaces let's take a look at a few example use cases Abby is a product manager she often spends a lot of time Drafting and refining product requirement documents to ensure that the requirements are clear concise and easily understood by product stakeholders using the now assist elaborate capability Abby can generate a product requirement document in a streamlined manner Abby compiles notes from meetings internal conversations and customer interactions and when she notices that the notes are missing key context required for the product documentation she uses the now assist elaborate feature to add in key details for the documentation this makes Abby more efficient and provides her and her stakeholders with a more thorough work product Paul is a project manager in his role Paul needs to create project Charters to communicate key project details to stakeholders however these project Charter documents often end up being too lengthy making it more challenging for Paul to convey information to his stakeholders in an accessible manner using the now assist summarize capability Paul can create an executive summary of the broader project Charter document to provide stakeholders with a brief overview of the Project's objectives and scope Paul gets time back in his his day and his stakeholders can digest the Project's key data points in a more efficient manner Rachel is a release train engineer as an RTE Rachel needs to generate release materials iteration retrospectives and Status highlights particularly for epics or features with extensive details this responsibility eats up a lot of Rachel's time and she's notice that it's prone to human error using the now assist shorten capability Rachel can generate a more concise version of the iteration retrospective doc that she's created in the Enterprise agile planning workspace this saves Rachel time and makes the iteration retrospective more clear and digestible to stakeholders to enable now assist users should navigate to the now assist admin page and select the now assist capability under each corresponding workpace or module to then enable that capability thanks for tuning in to learn more about the zanadoo release updates for now assist and SPM to learn more visit our product documentation website at docs. servis now.com
