Accelerate Value with Impact Training Insights

As new technologies radically change the way we work, it is vital for businesses to gauge the success of their learning efforts and make sure their teams have access to training that helps them unlock greater levels of productivity, efficiency, and value for your organization.

ServiceNow Impact customers can now use the Training Insights page to accelerate value by analyzing your team's skills and capabilities, identifying your unique training needs, and monitoring the training journeys.

The Training Insights Page offers a single, simplified dashboard designed to help your organization get the most out of ServiceNow's extensive training and certification (TACO) portfolio.

The Impact Training Insights page makes it easy for project teams and administrators to track the utilization of learning credits and the progress of ongoing training courses. You can also track the status of your certifications and act on certifications that are at risk.

The personas that will have access to the Training Insights page include Impact Platform Owners, Impact Admins, and Impact Executives. The ServiceNow Impact Squad will also have access to the page.

The user-friendly dashboard is particularly valuable for the following roles and personas: Training Admin, Learning Credit Manager, CxO, Executives, Impact Platform Owners, Impact Admins, and Impact Squad (ServiceNow).

The Training Insights page will be available to all Impact customers: Base, Guided, Advanced, and Total. However, the page is currently unavailable to customers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (and regulated markets.

The Training Insights page can be accessed from the Impact Benefits & Usage tab.

Overview

The Training Insights page offers a single dashboard to view all your training and certification endeavors with insights on the following:

  • Learning Credits
  • Training History
  • Custom Training
  • Vouchers and Certifications
  • Contacts
  • Resources

Learning Credits Dashboard

The Training Insights Page gives users a quick and easy snapshot of their learning credit consumption and allocation. This helps them understand the value of the Learning Credits allocated to them and helps them make the most of these learning credits.

This is crucial for organizations that are struggling with making the most of their learning credits, knowing their credit balances, and understanding when the credits expire.

The Linked Active Users widget shows the number of users or employees linked to your customer account.

Employees must be linked to your organization's account to be able to receive Impact training benefits, use company learning credits, have their training progress tracked by the organization, and more. Linked users can have multiple roles confer different responsibilities, access, and benefits.

The Active Balance tab shows the total credits for your organization, along with the credits that have been allocated and the credits that are available to be allocated.

The Expiring tab shows users the credits that are approaching expiry, and you can select the dropdown to see credits expiring in 90, 180, or 360 days. The Future Credits tab gives you an overview of the number of credits that will be allocated to you in the future.

Users can monitor the progress of any ongoing trainings and utilization of Learning Credits from a single, simplified dashboard. The dashboard highlights any credits that are due to expire soon and allows users to drill down into each credit pool for more details on usage and expiry.

Training Admins and Learning Credit Managers can use the Learning Credits Management dashboard on Now Learning to manage their Learning Credits.

Training History

The Impact Training Insights page is designed to provide project teams, training leads, and Impact admins with an overview of their teams' learning and training journeys.

The Training History widget provides a quick overview of the team's training history. It allows users to drill into the details of all the on-demand and instructor-led trainings that have been completed and are currently in progress.

You can also see historical data by selecting the period from the dropdown that you want to see the data for.

The widget also offers insights into the usage of learning credits for both on-demand and instructor-led courses from a single, simplified dashboard.

Users can manage their learning credit usage by heading directly to their Learning Credits Management dashboard on Now Learning.

Custom Training

Businesses need to take a strategic approach to training as new tools and technologies radically alter the way we work. While most spending currently occurs on instructor-led technical courses, customized, curated process-user training helps you get the biggest bang for your buck.

This section highlights the value of learning credits allocated for custom training in support of critical application adoption.

The Custom Training widget provides an overview of custom trainings along with a short description of each training, its status, Learning Credits allocation, and the progress in the form of percent complete.

Vouchers and Certifications

The Vouchers and Certifications section empowers the Training Admins and Learning Credit Manager to track voucher utilization and certification status easily.

As an Impact customer may have vouchers allotted to individuals or team members who have completed prerequisite courses as part of their package, the Voucher dashboard gives you an overview of all the assigned/issues and redeemed/registered vouchers.

The Certification section offers a quick overview of the organization or team's certification status and highlights certifications that are at risk of expiry or expired. This helps you plan and prepare for any upcoming certification renewals.

Contacts

The contacts section helps users quickly find any internal training contact. Be it your learning credit manager or training admin, you can now find anyone you're looking for by simply selecting a role from the dropdown list and send them an email with just a few clicks.

Resources

The Resources section provides you with a list of all the learning and training resources that will help you get the most out of your training efforts and maximize the ROI on learning.

The resources include Now Learning, customized career journeys, role-based learning paths, and more. Impact customers already have access to most of these resources as part of their package.

Training Definitions

Users can view the definitions of all the key terms used on the Training Insights page by clicking on Training Definitions at the top right corner of the Training Insights page. Each section on the page has a book icon next to the title that takes you directly to the definitions of all the related terms.
