With the Utah release, ServiceNow has introduced Theme Builder, an app that allows you to add any logo and color scheme to your instance.

This means it’s now super easy to give your instance a customized look that aligns with your company’s brand.

You can customize your instance using Theme Builder’s user-friendly GUI, meaning you can apply the theme without having to touch any code.

With Theme Builder’s simple widget, you define a range of theme and style records including brand colors, logo, typography, and corner shapes.

How to use Theme Builder

After upgrading to Utah, simply install the Theme Builder plugin.

Once you’ve run the Theme Builder wizard and defined your theme, you can edit it further using a style panel to change brand attributes at a global level.

Theme Builder allows you to preview the theme on your instance in real time before it’s applied.

And that’s all there is to it!

You now have an instance with branding and a color scheme that matches your company identity.
