Mobile and Web Page Speed Optimizations
What was updated?
- Code that causes delays during the rendering process for Service Portal pages has been either eliminated or migrated.
Outcomes:
- Performance improvements in page rending time for both mobile and web Service Portal pages. In internal tests we achieved up to a 50%* reduction in the time to render a page.
*This value is dependent on your specific portal configuration, so your percentage may differ. - Time to First Meaningful Paint (FMP) is reduced for both mobile and web rendering, allowing for a user to read the content of the page faster.
- Improved time to FMP assists with gaining greater rankings within search engines for those with publicly facing portals.
