this video is to demonstrate the functionality of a shared checklist for this example i'm going to use our onboard checklist service catalog item our company is hiring on a new employee who has to go through an onboard process as well as the employer have their own set of items that need to be completed the first stage of this onboarding process is where i'm going to demonstrate the shared checklist configuration so let's order now the requested item appears we'll scroll and look at the workflow so the onboard process has begun and the first stage is the group approval where i will show the shared checklist the first request goes to the group i.t securities there are two members of this group dude and beau so let's click on their checklist i am unable to check or do anything with this checklist because i'm not a member of the group so let's impersonate dude okay i'm dude i'm gonna go ahead and check the box that tony completed his background check and he's cleared for work and hit approve oh but wait one required checklist item is not selected this is because this particular checklist has been configured that both of these items are required to complete so let's just back out of this and let's impersonate bow row goes into his requests and sees the same checklist in real time so he sees okay this first item is already checked and done so i'm bo i'm going to go ahead and check that tony i completed tony's badge set up and hit approve hitting approve and all required items on the checklist are complete it initiates stage two of the onboarding process see stage two and a whole other set of checklists are sent out to the department manager as well as hr
