this example highlights the tableau tree map graph showing all the users having entitlement access and the sum total of all roles and responsibilities across all the entitlements authorized for each person below that we've created a horizontal bar graph summarizing authorized role and responsibility access by company with our filter we can select exactly which roles and responsibilities we are interested in and watch the tree map and bar graph react as those selections are made clicking an entry in the tree map pops up additional details on the right for the selected person showing all the roles and responsibilities they have likewise clicking an entry on the bar graph acts as a filter for the tree map and pops up details on the right about all the people in that company and all the entitlements and roles authorized for those people here is a senki diagram uh that's pulling data from tiger checklist pro uh usernames and roles and as you can see it's selected for custom demo service we could see the number of users on the left-hand side in the various roles they have it's kind of a neat way to show information moving uh and relationships between uh the two different dimensions uh through a thank you chart and you know to the conversely you could look ahead at roles and look at it in a backwards movement manner and of course using the filters built into tableau you could look at any service offering that you might be interested in this visualization i'd like to show you how we are taking uh employee names and showing by the various roles and service offerings that each of them have what we've done is we've brought over that full name pill and as well as other information that's available in our filter here what we're really trying to highlight are the different service offerings that they have and when you hover you have the ability to not just understand the service offerings but particular roles and when those entitlement completions took place uh the element of time is available of course and you have the ability to select deselect uh do anything you like of course um and that is one of the baked in features that you have with with tableau we also if wanted could bring in other elements such as other available features in this case i'm looking at the company names and say i'm not interested in employees that work for coke or ginger beer i'm really only interested in people that look work at mountain dew and sprite and we'll remove anyone that doesn't have a company name associated with them and here you go you can start to begin to see at this particular company level all of these attributes are easily just brought over by drag and drop and you can make them available in whatever capacity you want whether it's a multi-value list a drop down if you're trying to conserve white space and there you go
