Update your login credentials in Servicenow accounts without any data loss
Hello everyone,
In this article I am going to share my experience that I have been in a situation to update email address (login id) in all Servicenow accounts i.e. (community, developer and now learning) because all the accounts I have created using my organization id.
Please go through the below steps one by one to update email address in all accounts.
STEP 1: (PARTNER ACCESS)
Firstly, if you domain id is linked in partner account then we have to detach that account. Then only we can update the login details.
For this just drop an email to partnerops@servicenow.com to release your account in partner portal.
In my case they removed my ID in just 5mins after submitting the case through the above DL.
Now we are free to update.
STEP 2:( NOW LEARNING)
It's time for now learning account and this is very simple.
Login with your existing credentials i.e. (using organization ID) and unlink the webassessor email id.
STEP 3: (DEVELOPER AND COMMUNITY)
Click on Manage profile as shown in the below image in community profile:
It will redirect you to the below page:
Scroll down there you will find Update Email button:
Click on it and enter the new email in the field which you have never used in Servicenow account.
Enter the Sensitive code which you will receive from Servicenow and yes you are done. Now, your account will be locked for few minutes. After sometime you will be receive the email once updated like below.
Now you can login with your new email id with your old password.
Same it will reflect in all Servicenow accounts ( Community, developer and now learning).
So, In now learning link your webassessor now for mainline certifications mapping.
I hope it helps who are in a situation like me:)
Post the comments below if any. Happy to help.
Thanks,
Murthy
