Mitch Stutler is CEO of VividCharts, an Elite ServiceNow partner he cofounded in 2018. We want to tell you about Mitch’s incredible journey.

Mitch grew up in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati and now lives in Lexington. In college, he studied finance but also took some computer science courses. He wasn’t sure what he wanted to do after graduating, but he enjoyed computer science a lot.

Then a mentor of his told him to look into ServiceNow, saying it was going to be the next great platform and would give him a ton of opportunities. Taking the advice, he applied for and landed a summer internship with Fruition Partners prior to his senior year at college. His mentor also suggested he take ITIL training and become a Certified ServiceNow Administrator. Mitch enthusiastically jumped in with both feet and earned both of these certifications before he started his internship, which he says gave him a great start.

Mitch kept up the momentum. He went from being an intern to being a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist and then became a system architect—all in the space of just five years. By the way, Mitch is also a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer. Along the way, he built up a great network of contacts everywhere he worked, including at Fruition Partners, Cloud Sherpas, and Accenture.

Then Mitch took the plunge and started VividCharts, which specializes in data visualization on the ServiceNow platform in a platform-first approach. And he’s never looked back. He says that he and the team at VividCharts love being a ServiceNow partner. According to Mitch, being able to build and deliver their own software on top of ServiceNow is a great learning experience, and he’s going to continue building the team until they’ve helped each and every ServiceNow customer.

The bottom line? Mitch explains that ServiceNow has given him an extraordinary opportunity to grow his career, and he’s met so many great people along the way. And he says that without ServiceNow, he has no clue what he’d be doing in his career right now.
