When Poulomi was growing up in India, she wanted to be a teacher. She says she’s always had a knack for learning and sharing knowledge with others, but as fate would have it, she ended up being an engineer.

Poulomi started out as a big data developer, but after three years in the role, she started to feel her career was stagnating. So, she decided to pursue her MBA and then looked for a role where she could interact directly with clients and own projects, which she says she had always wanted to do.

She started by getting her hands on a ServiceNow developer instance. She says this is a great way to learn since it allows you to explore concepts and get hands-on experience. Things moved fast, and Poulomi quickly became a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). In fact, she got her CSA in just three months of joining NewRocket while working on a ServiceNow project!

Soon Poulomi was given the chance to be a Certified Implementation Specialist in Vulnerability Response and Risk & Compliance. She says the content was beautifully structured, and the knowledgeable and friendly instructors of the courses were great at clarifying concepts. She wasted no time putting that knowledge into action. She says the course has really helped her to answer customers’ questions and recommend solutions. The proof lies in the results—Poulomi credits Now Learning with helping her secure a perfect CSAT score on quite a few customer projects. She’s also enthusiastic about the ServiceNow Community since it brings together people from across the globe and really helps her resolve issues and concerns.

Since becoming a Certified Implementation Specialist, Poulomi has continued her learning journey, taking courses on SecOps and CSM. She says the learning opportunities are almost limitless and have helped her a lot in her professional life. Best of all, she loves being a business analyst and says ServiceNow has helped her become a better version of herself.
