From the mailroom to Associate Partner at Beniva
When people RiseUp with ServiceNow, they accomplish extraordinary things. Cheyenne Saulnier is a perfect example. She’s an Associate Partner at Beniva, an Elite ServiceNow partner headquartered in Calgary, Canada. Cheyenne leads the ServiceNow architecture team at Beniva and is also heavily involved in project delivery for clients.
Cheyenne’s story is remarkable. Back in 2011, she was working in the mailroom at an oil and gas company. She had very little formal IT background, but she’d always been interested in IT. Then the opportunity came. She was offered a role in the company’s IT department based on her reputation for excellent customer service and building connections across the business. The company was implementing ServiceNow as its new ITSM platform, and Cheyenne suddenly found herself flying from Calgary to New York to take the ServiceNow system administrator course.
Cheyenne says she fell in love with ServiceNow right away—so much so that she’s dedicated her career to ServiceNow. After gaining confidence in her system administration skills, she took additional ServiceNow courses and is now a Certified System Administrator (CSA) and a Certified Implementation Specialist for both Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management. She also has several other micro-certifications and accreditations.
In 2015, Cheyenne was asked to be the ServiceNow User Group (SNUG) leader for Southern Alberta. She says she gladly took on the role as it was a perfect opportunity to give back, helping the community to come together, planning events, and building agendas. She’s also volunteered to work at the SNUG booth at Knowledge conferences, and even took second place in a Knowledge hackathon!
Then, in 2020, Cheyenne decided to take her career to the next level by joining a ServiceNow partner. She says she wanted to share her passion for ServiceNow everywhere she could and build relationships with customers. She joined Beniva as a ServiceNow architect and within six months was promoted to Principal Architect. Success followed success, and seven months later she was promoted again to Director for ITAM and ITOM. Now she’s moved up again, and, as we said, she’s an Associate Partner—an amazing journey in a little less than three years.
Cheyenne says that she’s still incredibly passionate about ServiceNow and doesn’t know where she would be without the career opportunities ServiceNow has given her. She also loves working for Beniva, which she says is a fantastic ServiceNow partner that leads with integrity.
Congratulations, Cheyenne!
Isn’t it time for you to find a place where you can thrive? Go from dreaming about a new career to living it. RiseUp with ServiceNow.
