Introduction to Manager Hub

Managers are more critical than ever, which makes me really excited to share a new application we just released called Manager Hub.

As a purpose-built solution just for managers to stay engaged and support their team, Manager Hub helps people leaders to:

* View journeys, requests, and important dates
* Receive announcements just for leaders
* Identify tasks that require immediate action
* Access manager-specific resources

#### **Why it matters**

According to a recent [Gallup](https://www.gallup.com/workplace/231593/why-great-managers-rare.aspx) poll, Managers account for at least _**70% of variance in employee engagement**_ scores across business units. Not only that, but managers impact the bottom line. Increasing the number of talented managers increases productivity--on average companies who do this see **_147% higher earnings per share_** compared to competition.

Yet we have seen progressively over the past few years that managers are more squeezed than ever. Supporting managers is not only important for them as employees, but it is a force multiplier to impact employee experience, productivity, and critical to achieving your business results.

#### **Improve visibility into the team’s needs**

As an organization, the Your team tab of Manager Hub will help you adapt to the specific dynamics of your workforce. Because there is a flexible backend that lets you configure what shows up here you can:

* Prioritize what managers need to know most about each employee right now
* Show info and actions most relevant to your organization
* Enable managers to see what is most relevant based on the individual with data-driven views

Managers with large teams and multiple reporting levels can improve their focus by personalizing their view with filters and sorting of the team list.

Managers can better understand each team members current needs by finding employee-level information such as:

* Alerts to tell you who needs your attention
* See details about individuals needs and events—whether help is needed from IT, HR, Workplace Services
* Take common action for individuals or the team regardless of system
* View articles as your global employees—even if the manager would not have access to this information as an employee themselves

In the Manager library tab, people leaders will find curated and personalized help specific to managers such as:
