If you already hold ServiceNow certifications — like ITSM, CSM or other 7 certs — here’s an important update you should know about. Previously, the ServiceNow announced that passing the CIS Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM) exam would become mandatory to maintain your existing certifications. That meant if you didn’t take CIS Data Foundations, those certs might expire.

But there’s good news: as of now, CIS Data Foundations exam is being offered free of charge (for the first attempt) to eligible certification holders. That removes a key barrier and makes it much easier to stay compliant while bolstering your CMDB and CSDM knowledge.
