Recently working on a CMDB so there is a requirement to delete the data which is around 50k .

So there is a cool feature in ServiceNow which helps you to delete the data without writing any script .

Lets Understand with Example on PDI

> I want to delete a data of stale record

Steps

1. Open the record list of the table and apply filter as per you need

2. Now let's delete this data without script

3.clik on column option > Data Management > Delete all with preview

4. Once click you will see like below screenshot

5. Two option you see in Related Links

1. Preview Cascade :- Preview the number of records that will be affected before continuing and change the conditions if needed.

when you click on Preview Cascade you will see below screenshot

• Execute Now :- Means it execute the deletion process (to execute immediately)

Now click on Execute Now

Now click on Proceed job will start running

Now you will get success result

Check execution results

reviewing the outcomes of a performed action and there is option for rollback

Now go back to record and you will see that they get deleted
