OLUG Autumn Meeting Recap

Import · Sep 15, 2010 · article

imageWell due time for a nightcap recap. The August Ohio Local User Group Meeting was a great success thanks largely to everyone's support and participation. Thanks go out to Maryville Technologies for their sponsorship and support of our event. Also, a large thank you to OhioHealth's Dublin Methodist Hospital for providing great facilities and hosting for the day; and appreciation to Service-Now.com for bringing some of their team out to present on upcoming events and provide technical expertise and guidance. The largest token of appreciation goes out to everyone who was able to attend, devote time from their busy schedules, and make this day valuable and successful.

The day kicked off with a few general announcements and introductions around the room. We had over 45 attendees representing over 20 different organizations. We've now settled on a format to hold OLUG meetings once a quarter, taking a break for the annual Service-Now.com Knowledge Conference. We'll be looking to hold the next meeting after the holidays and a bit into the New Year, location to be determined (but it will be again in the Central Ohio area). Please look to the community site for an announcement on that once we get some more details pinned down.

Service-Now provided an update on their fiscal year end and some new upcoming features in the next release. Tony Moldovan from the John Maneely Company shared their work on time and resource tracking. A few people have requested a copy of Tony's presentation. If it becomes available, I'll attach a copy to this post.
