Schedule a report in ServiceNow
hi guys in this video we will talk about how we can schedule a bolts and so there's no way email so sometimes it is required to send couple of bolts to the users so that they can check on daily basis on weekly basis in the emails like how many tickets are still in open status how many tickets are closed and how many decades of painting since last week or maybe last month or last couple of months so let me just go to the scheduled report model which is available out of the box in service now and I'll click on new button over here let me just give a name to my scheduled report and let me select one of the reports I selected open incidents in the assignment and I have to give some time over here at which time this report so daily let me give the subject some message and here we can also select of what will be the type of my report whether it will be a PDF or a PNG image depends on the type of image file a report oh sorry so if my report has contains the list of items then we will see the type is XML also available in this type field so let me just submit my record and if I want I can just execute it now and think and I show doing see an email on the same and some time since it is my developer instance personal instance it might take some time for me to get the report and also we have this checkbox formative no records so if there is no data in the report what will happen is the report will not be sent to the user in if you want that particular configuration to it and you can check this particular checkbox so let me just check in my gmail if I have got the report yes it is there the introductory message which we gave the same over here and we can just open the report instead right whatever is there in the report so this was all about the scheduled report and I've opened this report in a new tab as well so that we can check if it is the same report which we have received on email so guys thank you for watching this video
