hi everyone so in this video i'm gonna show you how the search suggestion works in service portal so to do that firstly we need to enable this particular property that's glide search suggestion enabled this should be true and if we want to enable the suggestions for portal we need to set this particular property set this particular property to either suggestions or type it just remember that you cannot select both for portal and you can only select one at a time so now let's go to our service portal and let me refresh it so if i do something like i want to buy and android phone i just did that so now this is a particular suggestion so next time if i go back to this search bar and type this i will be able to see that i got a suggestion from my old searches so now one more case i'll show you if i go to a different user so i have already impersonated to netstrap and if i search this you can see that nothing is coming up so the reason it's not coming up because we have to build the searches also so to build the searches what we have to do is like we have to go back to the back end and click on this build search suggestion property and we need to execute it so you can just schedule it daily or whatever the time according to your instance and let me execute it now so now if i go back to this particular user and just refresh it and search with the same term you can see i want to buy an android phone comes up right so that's how the suggestion search works thank you for watching guys
