Where is SNScout? My Nine Month Hiatus

SN Scout · Nov 29, 2021 · article

Some folks have asked me where I've been for the 9 months since my last post. The short answer is that SNScout had to take a backseat to family time, work, and other duties.

In March of this year I changed from one

ServiceNow partner, Bravium Consulting, to another partner, Acorio with increased role and responsibility. At the same time, I took on some additional responsibilities at church. The job change was a great. I've been managing Technical Architects and Senior Technical Consultants. I also had several projects with great teams and great clients where I learned a ton! My church duties have been personally rewarding and I've been blessed to interact with many wonderful individuals.

The combination of these two major life changes, though, took up the time I had previously been using to research and write SNScout posts. I had a false start back in June, where I posted a LinkedIn survey asking what people might want me to write about. I started several stub stories, but didn't publish anything.

I'm about to embark on another change in December that I'm very excited about. As a part of that, I feel I'll have some time restored to my schedule to devote to SNScout. To start out, I have a few posts prepared that will get us through the end of the year (I hope). First one out now on instance cloning (I've been making notes on this one for a couple of years).
