Time Sheet Portal in Person-days, editable columns, time off color days, and more
NOTE:
This works since New York release, and still work on the latest Washington release.
The script "Time Card Grid - Version 8.2.1 Quebec, Rome.txt" must be used for all versions since Quebec.
To benefit of the "Show time off days", which reads the data from the resource_aggregate_daily table, set the system property com.snc.resource_management.generate_daily_aggregates = true as this table is not populated by default since Quebec version for new installations.
The new version 9.0.0 brings two new features:
"Show time off days" can show the user calendars, or can show a specific calendar as a company calendar.
"Grouped resources" is available when the Employee Profile plugin is installed, to manage contract and labor pool resources, and to enter big effort amounts, per week or on the last day of the month. If new resources are created to use the grouped resource feature, don't forget to check the timecard license with the sales account manager.
I have been asked by my customer to manage time sheets in person-days; which is a common practice in EMEA.
I could answer 'Yes' with some changes to the Time Sheet portal.
I know this is almost a mandatory requirement in EMEA to implement time sheets in person-days instead of hours, and this why I share this.
To manage person-days is set in the time sheet policy. It is possible to have a multiple time sheet policies to manage hours and person-days, with different hours per day.
With the time and other customers, new features have been added to the Time Sheet Portal.
All details are in the attached pdf file.
