I'm or alaikum everyone I'm back with another video and today I'll be telling you about ticket conversation so most of us don't notice and don't know how to bring the activity field which we often use in the form layout of the back end tables but it is not visible in the portal so how do we bring the activity field in the portal so today I'll be showing you that if you see in this particular CC the table and currently if you go to the if this is my portal page and I have created one a menu of user if you if I click in any one of the record currently I am not having any activity field here so what I will do I will bring configure form layout in every in every table there is something known as activity Phil field which is out of the box and it gives us all the updated field activities what is happening in the form of each of each record so if you see that it is it is saying that auditing has been turned on for this table because whatever you will type here or you will update it will just get updated in the activity field here so this is the activity field which is visible currently but in the form if you see I just reloaded in the SIS user if you see there is the activity field is coming but it is in the know readable comment field so why is this to remove this there is something in the sis dictionary of the table there is some field type known as journal input which is needed in the as a field in the our table journal input is basically it all inter takes all the history and it captures all the history in that particular field and then it will help you to show in the portal so let's just create a configure table a journal input field in the sis user table so that it can capture everything and do new type is journal input see journal input is coming and you can name it as audit history and I will submit it but just ringing the or creating the field will not work guys so if you will now open the record something known as audit history has come ok but what should what you have to do is if you see in the filter of this activity there is something you have to configure ok ok now first I will show you in the portal whether what is the view of the portal after creating the field so if I just scroll down so if you see that audit history is coming here but it is of no use I don't want this to be here so what I will do there is something known as we have to configure so you have to keep this audit field in this configure configure thing order history whatever field you will select here so whenever you will update in any of these selected fields the updated value before and after we'll just get updated in the activity field they will just save this so if you see now something posed is coming currently so if you've write something here it Krong and if you just post it will come in the activity automatically this is out-of-the-box feature so now if I go to the forum and I'm if I just reload it previously there was no post if I scroll down see something like this is coming and only created my system administrator created is coming now I have already told you mentioned before that whatever filter selected fields are you have selected so if you update in any of these field then the updated value will get captured in the activity so let's see whether it is working in the portal or not if I give the name as s and if I save it see here it is already mentioned that systems administrator was system admin instruments before it was system administrator and now it is systems administrator but if you go in the form okay I'm in the different society so I'll open that particular society okay I wonder given the filter enable I haven't enabled the filter so I'll just search with admin here and this was the society so if I will just crawl down see only Ikra is coming created the it is coming this Fred Lodi has been has created but systems it has become systems administrator that particular thing is not coming which is been shown in the Mac end so now how to update it every field whatever you are selecting in the portal guys you try it on your own and I'll get back to you with this on my next video so have patience and try to do on your own I'll just give you a hint it will be using a business rule thank you everyone thanks for watching
