Why does my Resource Report / Allocation Workbench show Availability while Allocated Hours are more than Capacity?
Occasionally, Resource Managers will notice that they have Users who are over their Capacity in Allocated Hours yet still have availability. This is entirely possible in the system since Over-Allocation does not roll over to the next day.
Consider that a user has a 40 hours of Capacity in a week. 8 hours per day.

| Wednesday | 8 | 9 | 0 |
| Thursday | 8 | 3 | 5 |
| Friday | 8 | 3 | 5 |
While the user is Over-Allocated for the week (41 hours) they have Availability on Thursday and Friday because they have 3 hours Allocated out of 8. They, therefore, have 5 hours of availability on both days and 10 for the week.
