Servicenow Demo | Servicenow Tutorial for Beginner | Servicenow Training | IT Canvass
[Music] [Applause] [Music] what I was asking us so I was simply saying about myself first and I'm asking about these students expectations out of the class so what exactly a word in this training and maybe if you say your expectations I will try to add those in my agenda for the training okay means I'm looking for a development when what are the models in ideation I want to cover all the ideation dudes okay so you have any prior experience no I don't have it okay okay yeah Gordon thanks very small not rated okay so that leaves us with Kiki if kitty I'll go ahead with the agenda yes I'm looking for just service no development I also have no prior experience in service now I am new to service sure sure thanks kitty again so yeah I'll go ahead with Mitch and then on what I'll be teaching you guys as per the fundamentals agenda so I see there's a majority of people who are new to service now so first I'll be talking about the introductions of service now all the basics so things like how do we navigate and what is the basic setup of service now what is the service gnome architecture and we'll be talking about the introduction to the development part like script things in scripting we'll be discussing in detail about the all types of stripping's will and to just give a gist on that will be first working on client scripts various types of client scripts and some examples then your policies and then we will be working on business tools and I will be giving certain that so everything has a hands on I'll be explaining with the lab session and the meetings will be recorded you'll be getting in recording once the meetings are now all the trainings are done so yeah to go with the scripting part will be working on client scripts yeah policies business rules and in specific to business rules there is something called the glide system one guy record we'll be discussing further on that and then we have something for your actions so your script includes script includes we'll be having some lab sessions on that and finally your actions so when it goes to development whatever scripts that I have mentioned now there is a lab session for each and every one of them and we will be discussing and as the flow goes every class we will be spending first 5-10 minutes to talk about the queries from previous class and what we are going to look at the current class then we will go ahead with the gas will try to wind up our session 5-10 minutes before so that if there is any major queries or something that needs to be covered in the upcoming class I can take this query sponsor so this is how the flow goes and this is what I would be covering as for our trainings so if you guys want to add up anything more to what I said right now probably we can go ahead and discuss about that you yeah and I believe there's an ask on the ITSM part too so probably I'll share everything related to ITSM so this is theoretical part on Service Catalog what is configuration management change management incident problem and knowledge so I'd be giving an overview and all these things we may not be doing labs we will be mainly focusing on understanding the ServiceNow platform how it works and the development part mostly the scripting part whatever scripts that I mentioned before will be going with a lab sessions on all those things and I would be sharing the PPT so whatever that I am using for training so it contains all the basics information regarding whatever that we are going to discuss and you can use it for reference during the training so since Orlando is there I didn't get a chance to actually update that I will try to update it with Orlando information if I need to add something and probably when the predicate starts I'll be sharing those doctrines with you guys so yeah this is pretty much it which I am looking forward to cover but if there is something that I missed or there is something that you guys want to add on or focus give me some focus points so that while teaching those things and reduce stress and give more examples or come up with some more examples and lab sessions for this [Music] okay so I think the salience and there isn't me questions or queries regarding the agenda I believe I'll have a question yeah yes please go ahead is the administration past is included in this administration administration yeah yeah the service new fundamentals that we are going to see first before starting this fitting part is mostly about administration so when I say administration we are just trying to understand how the ServiceNow platform works and how does the platform is built so basically whatever that we are trying to focus on the first part of our training or at least the initial part of the training is going to be mostly understanding the platform which means the administration parts most people will be seeing about how we navigate through applications what all this what is filter how to be configure form things like taking a report or sending notifications and how to import data from an Excel how can I exported ah and yeah these are some of the things that we will be seeing about in the first space of our training and that I think these all are coming under the administration part currently teaching on Orlando version yeah I haven't got a clue teaching an Orlando version so my expectation out of the training is each one of you to have your own instances and I would be sharing as I said I'd be sharing the PPT along with that I wish I on the laptop ones also so it may not be a specific document so what that we do in training if there is a lab available or if I do a lab probably I can do it in one of your instances and others can follow but yeah my ask is Xavier wrote instances and try to catch up with the lamps labs mostly do not have a dependency but I highly recommend you guys to do the labs on your own when he gets free time and come up with as much questions as you have so that we can discuss it's a learning for me it's a learning for you so try to come up with a lot of questions as long as I get a lot of questions I'd be more happy to help your case on that so feel free to ask any questions because this is something which I'd like to add up from my end as something that I can do from for as part of the standard so yeah my ass kiss take your own instance try to fall out the lab and come up with as much questions as you can okay thanks kitty okay so yeah that's pretty much it from my end if you guys want to add up something or discuss something the ahh braces are always open and you can go ahead check those point pointers down to them and they'll definitely reach out to me on that so yeah if that isn't anything much to discuss then probably we can wind up here and discuss you can get it organized on you preferable timings to start a training a variety may also have a question yes please please notice me and Sundra another person are afraid of scripting means we are basically background from mechanical yeah yeah I understand so worry not behave be starting with the basic scripting and it's going to be tower stood I am not sure if you guys have hands-on on HTML or something but it is as easy as HTML and why noted I will try to be more specific to a beginner level when we discussed on the scripting part of our training so whatever labs that I am going to give it will start like a hollow hollow world labs and then I will slowly go ahead with some of the complex labs but I will make sure that you guys understand on what we are trying to do rather than completing the labs so why not at arrow so yeah this will be little it will not be advanced so if you ask me to say how difficult it will be it will not be beginner it not be advanced intermediate so when I say it intermediate it should be doable and we are going to start with a beginner level so when I go when I say beginner level it should be pretty much understandable script so we'll start with first understanding this corrupt and then we'll slowly go ahead with some intermediate level of script so that you guys get in and so on so I when I say about scripting part and if you take if you want to take my advice so whatever labs that I'm trying to give trying to work out on your own and try to come up with your own labs keep working on it so that you feel comfortable with it so when you start out when you first see it it feels so complex but when you start working on it and when you have repetitive hands are honored you actually feel comfortable and you feel it easy so if you ask me service knows JavaScript for a beginner level for a system administrator for a beginner ServiceNow developer it is easy and as we grow as we develop the script will keep enhancing and the script will keep getting complex but on a beginner level on a service no developer for someone who's starting it is pretty much easy to start it's not actually understanding a JavaScript and it's not completely to our stew so this is something that anyone can actually learn you don't need dependency on it so yeah not on the part I will make sure to stress on the points when we discuss about skipping the after completing of the session means every class are you giving any assignment belonging yes so whatever labs that we are doing so fasting has to follow up the labs so I would be performing the lab so that lab you can go ahead and try it out in your own time so may not be every session but mostly every class will have a lab and once you get the recordings you can go go ahead and try to work out on that lab in your own spare time okay so I believe that pretty much covers everything so two things are going to be a focus point in my training so one is the fundamentals part that is the administrative part and the second one is going to be scripting so these are the two things that I'll be focusing more during our training and the rest of the part is going to be in the flow as per the agenda and yeah and as I said I said the agenda of a gas is when we first fascist first part of our training is going to be fundamentals and unpin stated second part is going to be scripting once we are done with both I'll be trying to give up just on ITSM modules so what is incident what is change what is knowledge and all those things so yeah I would be wrapping up here and probably we can get it coordinated with the organizers on and we can have a bad schedule for this that's pretty much it from my end guys thank you thank you thank you yeah thanks any more please take it forward from there okay sure thank you you
