Share The Wealth: How To Use ServiceNow Emergency Self Report Application
hello everyone my name is Benjamin scare and today I'm going to provide a short demonstration at the emergency self-report application on the ServiceNow platform at the time we're recording this video in March of 2020 we are dealing with a dynamic and rapidly evolving situation concerning the worldwide corona virus outbreak to help responsible government agencies and businesses alike ServiceNow has released a set of emergency response applications that includes emergency response operations outreach exposure management emergency self-report which we'll be discussing in video today so what does emergency self-report do what was developed to monitor and aid in the stopping of community spread among employees and as it pertains to coded 19 and short it gives employees awaits from notifying the employer of the health status enables managers and response teams to track that reporting eliminates the need for gathering email phone or other manual data sources enables the service towns digital workflow to capture and automatically blow up that data for analysis in action and ultimately helps us reach a common goal of returning our employees to work safety but with that let's go ahead and take a look so here I am impersonating one of my employees mr. Rutherford B Hayes I can navigate to the application here by type in an emergency self in the filter navigator which will bring me to emergency self-report and I'll go ahead and start out by looking at the dashboard now the dashboards are look going to allow us to update our health status as well as see the current state of the health status that we reported in addition to that there's also a widget for knowledge articles where of course any knowledge articles or relevant information could be provided so to start out here we are going to submit an update on the health status right now we'll go ahead and mark it as reported symptoms and click Save I know notice here that we have a banner that is provided and this can be configured to our liking in this case here we have CDC guidelines that you can visit to provide information pertaining to the outbreak in addition to that you can see that the own health status has been updated with reporting symptoms and we can also click to view the record as well the other mods we have available to us as all health records in which we can see the record that was created and then assigned to our manager pertaining to the task crisis task which has our health status let's go ahead and take a look at what the manager is going to see you on their side so again we can navigate to the application here by typing an emergency self-report here's the application and we'll go ahead and go first to the dashboard and one of this this dashboard looks a little bit different here because I am the manager and I can look at the status of all my employees as well as my own status right here so any employees that have symptoms or are in quarantine I can click and see the record in addition to that I can see any days remaining whether it is reporting symptoms or in quarantine the default time for quarantine is going to be 40 days and then if there is an out sick situation here that the default time is going to be 20 days in addition that I can also update the health status not only for myself but I can also update it for any other of employees that I am a manager for we have the knowledge widget once again and then if I scroll down here on the dashboard I can see I have a visual representation of my team and in addition to that I have a widget here regarding any high-priority open tasks that they are currently assigned and of course we can go and configure this as we like as well with properties as far as what tasks are available and what information is provided here and the icon now as far as this team overview I can see green and both red those who are marked in red are going to be those that are in quarantine or reporting symptoms so in this concurrent case here I can see that the open tasks are currently assigned to mr. Gerald Ford and in this case he's not reporting any symptoms so that is just fine however if he was I could recite reassign that if I needed to either by going one by one to change the assignment or I could also assign all this by clicking here in the Select box and clicking Rahsaan reassign all and then choosing the user in addition to that I can also click on specific users to see if they have any open tasks as well perhaps that this list has quite a bit of ask we can filter that way as well so I'm go ahead and click on the module all my health records here and since I am a manager I can see the other health records that were rated for additional users as well so in this case here mr. Harry Truman I could see his status the current escape state we could update with any notes as needed and we can see all the tasks that are currently assigned to that user that weren't of a higher or critical priority lastly here we have HR tasks in order to view this you're going to need to have the Human Resources team role for all other modules whether it is printing or updating your own health status or your employees you're going to need the crisis task user those again those are the two roles that are available with this application and once that that is going to go ahead and do it here for this quick demo you have any questions feel free to reach out to the team or look ahead in the link below the video here which will provide some more information on emergency self-report again thank you everyone for being this video be sure to LIKE and subscribe the channel and what's up have a nice day thanks [Music]
