[Music] hi folks my name is Chris and I'd like to welcome you to knowledge 2020 and this lab getting started with performance analytics with me today is one of our most experienced product managers April McGehee and we'll introduce ourselves in just a moment this lab is gonna give you a tremendous opportunity and an opportunity to learn how you can bring together people in your organization and make your colleagues more efficient save time and just in general make their work lives better this is gonna be a basic level course so if you're new to performance analytics if you're new to ServiceNow if you've never worked with these features you're gonna get a ton of great content if you are an intermediate or advanced user you might learn a few things but again this is intended for beginners the focus of the session is around using the solution the basics of creating dashboards and analyzing KPIs using the analytics hub in this session we're not focusing on building content from scratch or activating performance analytics as an admin you can find that content in some of the other k20 labs this session is going to be broken up into two parts first we'll spend about 30 minutes or so helping you understand performance analytics concepts and how they are used then do a short demonstration then my partner in crime April will take over to lead the labs at a very high level what we're trying to do in this session is to introduce you to performance analytics and give you some real use cases to help you better understand ways performance analytics can be used to help your organization succeed these concepts will be applied to IT Service Management cases it's like incidents but performance analytics works across the platform so if you are from an HR background maybe you use our customer service product or project management you can take these lessons and you can apply them to your own situation you're also going to learn about the mindset and KPI strategy that are most mature and successful clients are using to be successful with performance analytics every day in this session we won't be training you how to build kpi's from scratch there will be no scripting I promise but if you are interested I definitely encourage you to check out more advanced performance analytics training courses and some of the other breakout sessions from knowledge this you [Music] you [Music]
