Why Entrust Certificate Discovery Fails?

Check whether the root certificate is downloading or not.

How to check the Entrust root certificate is downloading or not?

Answer:

Here is the Root certificate download URL:

Note: Root certificate download URL is configured in the mid property: mid.ca.entrust.url

Old API URL: https://entrust.com/root-certifictes/entrust_2048_ca.cer

The Entrust root cert download URL got updated to:

Updated URL: https://web.entrust.com/root-certificates/entrust\_2048\_ca.cer

If the above URL is not working then in the Entrust Pattern, during the download root certificate step, it will get fail. So due to this Entrust Certificate discovery fails.

Solution:

How to get the updated Entrust Root Certificate Download URL if it gets expired?

Step1: Goto https://www.entrust.com/resources/certificate-solutions/tools/root-certificate-downloads

Step2: Click on the Download link from the Root Certificate Row.

Step3: Get the download URL.

MID PROPERTY CHANGES TO:

If this URL gets mismatches with the mid property(mid.ca.entrust.url) update the URL accordingly.

mid.ca.entrust.url : https://web.entrust.com/root-certificates

Here is the PRB(PRB1438850) which is addressed and fixed accordingly and the attached update set in the PRB.
