First Impressions of the Catalog Builder
When I saw this feature on the Quebec release, I was very excited because visualizing request forms and collecting requirements for the LoB is not always very easy. I have used different formats to create my own templates to gather requirements for the creation of different catalog items for the Service Portal – from Powerpoint templates to Word Files, Excel templates and different Forms. This for me as an HR Implementation Specialist is a game changer.

I have been reading about this new Catalog Builder and playing around with it. Here are my first three impressions of it:
- The interface is very easy to navigate and simple to use, without even following the guides and videos, I managed to create and deploy simple templates
- The video tutorials are simple, straight to the point and easy to follow for any user
- This will certainly bridge the gap between implementors, catalog administrators, LoB especially HR Managers, Administrators and the different operations teams.
